Application Method

Before installing Günproof Membrane, the substrate must be clean, dry and sound. Remove dust, dirt, oil and any residue that could reduce adhesion beforehand. A bitumen primer is recommended for stronger bonding.

The membrane rolls are unrolled in the direction of application. The underside is heated in a controlled way with a torch flame and bonded to the substrate. Leave an overlap of at least 10 cm at the joints, and check the welded areas carefully.
