What Is Poliproof Membrane?

The Poliproof Membrane Series is a range of professional bitumen-based waterproofing membranes designed to protect structures against water, moisture and external environmental exposure. Thanks to their high strength, strong adhesion and long-lasting protection, they are trusted in foundation, roof, terrace, viaduct and heavy-duty applications.

Application Method

For Poliproof Membrane installation, the substrate must be clean, dry and sound. Remove dust, oil, dirt and any residue that could reduce adhesion.

After the bitumen primer has been applied, the membrane rolls are unrolled in the direction of installation. The underside is heated in a controlled manner with a propane torch flame and bonded to the substrate. A minimum lap of 10 cm must be maintained at overlaps, and the welded seams should be checked carefully.
